I tried to add a text logo to my photo in Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.1.2.
All it did was to displace the photo from the corner for like 100 pixels and that’s it.
Am I suppose to do anything afterwards?

did you entered a text in the textfield?

Yes, I tried it on both black only and white only images.
Text = “My Name”
Colour = FFFFFF
Font = LucidaSans
Location = lower left corner
size = 20% of width
All I get is a copy of the image shifted up and right by approx 100 pixels.

Ok, found out why.
My name has an apostrophe ‘ – as soon as I remove it, it worked!
Looks like it doesn’t like my name! 🙁11. April 2016 at 11:18 #587
I’ll notice this for the next update.
Thanks for pointing it out.

A workaround in the meantime: Simply create your watermark as a picture (psd, ai, png, …) and use this as logo instead of text.11. April 2016 at 12:03 #591KaiGuest
No worries. I’ll do the logo for the time being.
